A leading pharmaceutical market research agency is looking for a Senior Research Manager/Associate Director in Manchester. As Senior Research Manager/Associate Director, you will: Manage the delivery of multiple primary MR (Market Research) projects.
Demonstrate experience and knowledge of a broad range of MR methodologies and techniques, including more advanced or complex approaches. Demonstrate knowledge of the therapy area on each project to apply to research materials and findings, and to enable credible discussion with the client.
Demonstrates expertise within specific therapy areas. Demonstrate knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry by putting research findings into the broader context of the client’s business situation. Lead internal project meetings.
Acts as the primary point of contact for clients in relation to the day‑to‑day project management.
Participates in client discussions related to objectives, design/methodology, and research findings. Be responsible for end‑to‑end project management, ensuring all project components and tasks are allocated and completed according to timelines. Lead or co‑lead the delivery of the final presentation and/or workshop, and address client questions or challenges with support. Motivate and engage the project team to deliver against expectations, providing coaching and mentoring as required.
Extensive hands‑on experience designing and delivering primary market research across the product life cycle. Experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. Strong client relationship management and commercial acumen, including appreciation of client‑side/marketing business challenges. Excellent communication skills (internally and externally). Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise across a variety of projects and timelines. A positive, creative, and collaborative mindset. Willingness to travel to Manchester once a month.
