Quinteq are looking for a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to work full time. The salary range for this permanent onsite role is between £44,000 and £48,400 (£45,950 and £50,350 with scheduled call out retainer) plus overtime at time and a half for call outs paid door to door, and a discretionary annual bonus. You will receive a company van, 28 days holiday which includes bank holidays which can rise to 33 with time served additions, pension, healthcare, dental and optical cover.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 07 : 00 to 16 : 00

Call Out Rota - 1 week every month, +£150 for the week, retainer + overtime at time and a half, paid door to door. There will also be occasional call out cover needed outside of rota for holidays etc.

As our Senior Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for all HVAC and refrigeration systems at our King’s Lynn pharmaceutical site. You will lead the on-site team, ensuring efficient completion of planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a variety of equipment. Your responsibilities include meticulous record-keeping and close collaboration with the on-site facilities team and our Mechanical Service Manager to coordinate current and future projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your leadership and technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance on Refrigeration & HVAC equipment.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork promptly.
• Carry out service and repair work across the site.
• Organize the on-site team for efficient work completion.
• Liaise with facilities team regarding completed and upcoming work.
• Organise work and ensure service reports are submitted.

Key Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience as a HVAC / refrigeration engineer.
• C&G 2079 refrigeration handling certificate.
• Possess a full UK, valid driving license.

Desirable:

• IPAF qualification and experience.
• Skill card / CSCS card.
• PASMA qualification and experience.
