Job summary

A leading UK staffing agency is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead project teams and manage the commercial aspects of construction projects. You will be involved in various sectors including Leisure, Justice, and Education. The ideal candidate will have main contractor experience and be proficient in contract management. Responsibilities

• Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery.
• Working alongside the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management.
• Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts.
• Being involved with the final account negotiation.
• Manage the project commercial team.

Skills

Main contractor experience within the Construction space

Experience of different contract forms

Experience as a Senior Surveyor on projects ranging between £10m to £50m

Experience in establishing, managing and leading a large project team

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Division: UK Construction

Location: Cambridge

Senior Quantity Surveyors, come and join my clients commercial team! Projects on average range between £10 - £50 million and the sectors include: Leisure, Justice, Defence, Education, Healthcare and Commercial schemes.

About The Role

As the Senior Surveyor, you will play a key role within the organisation where you will lead the team on a project, working collaboratively with both customers and industry specialists.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery.
• Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors.
• Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement.
• Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.
• Manage the project commercial team.
