At Equifax, we believe knowledge drives progress. As a global data, analytics, and technology company, we play an essential role in the global economy. We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our TDX Group team in Nottingham. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for leading independent quality assurance across key business processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting the maintenance of our vital ISO certifications. You will be instrumental in helping senior leaders understand how well-controlled the business is and in driving a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

As a Senior QA Manager, you will be at the forefront of maintaining our high standards for quality and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Quality Assurance & Monitoring:

    • Executing independent testing against the TDX risk-based QA plan to assess business controls.

    • Highlighting assurance activity outputs to Team Leaders and Business Managers, ensuring any non-compliance or unfair consumer outcomes are identified and actioned.

    • Escalating issues to the Head of Quality Assurance and contributing to accurate monthly reporting.

    • Representing the business in client meetings to deliver key insights and performance metrics.

    • Maintaining an effective feedback loop with operational management to ensure learnings from assurance activities are understood and implemented.

  • ISO Certification Management:

    • Supporting the management and development of our ISO certification framework, including policies and manuals for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22301.

    • Facilitating the effective execution of external ISO audits and managing the process for gaining new certifications.

    • Conducting internal ISO 9001 audits across key business areas, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of all outputs.

    • Delivering required ISO training to employees and driving engagement for embedding ISO priorities across the business.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Strategy:

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Monitoring the impact of new legislation affecting Equifax/TDX to ensure our processes remain compliant.

    • Applying appropriate techniques to investigate problems, developing solutions based on business capacity and resources.

What Experience You Need

  • Strong experience in delivering independent quality assurance within an FCA regulated environment.

  • Significant experience auditing both internal and external stakeholders.

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22301 requirements.

  • An ability to organise and prioritise your own work to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make and challenge decisions based on data and evidence.

  • The ability to explain detailed and complex information clearly to a range of audiences.

  • A proactive approach to your own professional development, with an ability to learn new subject matter quickly across varied business functions.

What Could Set You Apart

  • Specific experience working in consumer credit or a recoveries management environment.

  • A deep knowledge of regulatory aspects related to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) alongside a broader understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) handbook.
