Overview

Job Profile: Major loss adjusting practice seeks to expand its Property Division through the appointment of two additional adjusters in the South West region. The positions are home-based and you will handle domestic and commercial losses up to £100,000 in value. You will be given autonomy to handle those losses as you see fit supported by an excellent desk-based team. Your caseload will be no more than 60-70 losses thus enabling you to handle your portfolio in a thoroughly professional manner in a relatively pressure-free environment.

• Manage a caseload of approximately 60-70 losses, delivering professional service in a pressure-free environment with support from a desk-based team.
• Operate with autonomy in determining loss handling within company policies.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years in a general property adjusting role, either domestic or commercial, and be comfortable handling a mixed caseload.
• Experience is more important than formal qualifications; progress with CII/CILA preferred and may be rewarded via salary.
• Willingness to travel within the South West region; home-based role.
• Basic salary budget up to £55-60,000 plus bonus, car, pension and 25 days holiday.
