Qualifications

  • APM PMQ, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management or equivalent certification required.
  • Strong understanding of Government Functional Standards in project delivery and Secure by Design principles.
  • Proven ability to manage large budgets, risks and multi‑disciplinary teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with project tools such as MS Project or equivalent.

Our Digital and Data technology team delivers best‑in‑class solutions for UK government clients. From creating bespoke secure software to migrating an entire embassy’s servers to the Cloud, we underpin a secure, data‑driven future. We are looking for a senior project manager to lead and deliver a wide range of government security projects.

Key responsibilities

Take personal ownership of a portfolio of digital, data and technology projects. Write business cases, translate requirements and realise benefits while managing costs, quality and time. Identify opportunities for new or repeat business and embed rigorous risk and change management. Build strong relationships with senior leaders, technical teams and government partners. Champion user needs and accessibility, leading GDS assessments and collaborating with researchers, designers and architects to ensure secure, scalable services.

Qualifications
  • APM PMQ, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management or equivalent certification
