A financial services firm based in Cheadle is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives focusing on regulatory change. The successful candidate will unite internal and external teams, manage risks and budgets, and ensure governance requirements are met. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in project management, particularly within the regulatory environment of financial services. We’re looking for an experiencedSenior Project Managerto lead high-impact, strategic initiatives. You will be focusing on our newregulatory change portfolio and with support from Leadership and the wider team, be a key voice in the setup and definition of the Portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring business and technology projects meet regulatory and governance requirements whilst aligning with our enterprise risk strategy.
In this pivotal role, you’ll unite internal and external teams to deliver measurable outcomes, champion operational readiness and keep complex programmes on track. You’ll engage confidently with executive stakeholders, manage risks, budgets, and third-party relationships, and drive projects from conception to implementation. As a senior voice within the Delivery Management team, you’ll also mentor colleagues, and foster collaboration.
