Job Title: Programme Engineer (FRA Remedial Works)

Location: Bristol

Pay Rate: £26 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

Hours: Full-time

Seven Resourcing are seeking an experienced Programme Engineer to support the delivery of Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) remedial works across housing assets in Bristol. This role plays a key part in ensuring fire safety compliance, coordinating remedial actions, and providing technical expertise to support wider housing delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) reports and identify required remedial works.
  • Organise, coordinate, and progress remedial works in housing dwellings, buildings, and land.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure FRA actions are implemented effectively and on time.
  • Provide technical consultancy and guidance to non-technical staff within Housing Delivery.
  • Drive compliance, performance monitoring, and accurate reporting across all FRA-related programmes.
  • Advise on current and future fire safety legislation, including alarm installation, maintenance, and regulatory changes.
  • Take ownership of projects and programmes end-to-end, including planning, delivery, monitoring, and accountability.
  • Manage schedules, costs, and performance to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
  • Champion customer experience and ensure high levels of resident and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
  • HNC in Construction Management, Building Surveying, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, FRA processes, and remedial works delivery.
  • Proven experience managing programmes or projects within housing, construction, or surveying environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • A proactive and accountable approach to programme delivery and compliance.
