Job description

We're looking for an influential and strategic procurement professional individual with strong analytical and negotiation skills to join our client as a Senior Procurement Leader. You would play a key role as part of Europe's leading vending, coffee and refreshment provider, developing sourcing strategies, ensuring supplier quality, and optimizing costs while maintaining the highest standards for freshness, sustainability, and flavour excellence.

Full-time role on a 12 month contract, offering a hybrid working pattern combining remote / Hemel Hempstead Head Office. Salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience plus benefits including life assurance, 5 weeks paid sick leave, plus industry leading training and development opportunities.

The Role

Reporting to as well as working closely alongside the Procurement Director your role would combine leadership with category expertise in fresh food and coffee. You would design and implement procurement strategies for fresh food to go and food tech product ranges, hot drinks and coffee, that align with business goals while driving innovation and differentiation in these categories to meet consumer trends and preferences.

Responsibilities will include…

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross functional partners to ensure flawless execution of strategy
  • Translate market trends and client needs into profitable products and concepts
  • Partner with product development teams and suppliers to introduce new offerings in coffee blends and fresh food categories
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and long‑term value
  • Negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms, sustainability commitments, and consistent quality.
  • Ensure sourcing practices support sustainability goals, such as fair‑trade coffee, organic certifications, and reduced food waste
  • Work with quality assurance teams to ensure suppliers meet high standards for freshness and product integrity
