  • Experience navigating complex pricing scenarios and shaping clear commercial viewpoints.
  • An analytical background, whether through a relevant degree or experience.
  • Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Strong financial understanding, especially around cost contribution and margin analysis.

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Pricing Manager to lead our Deal Desk Team and drive intelligent, commercially sound pricing decisions that deliver real value. Reporting to the Head of Pricing, you'll take ownership of customer specific pricing for some of our most important accounts. You'll maximise value across our retail product portfolio, lead a talented team, and shape how we approach high value commercial deals.

This is a role where your expertise will be visible and influential - across Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and all the way up to senior leadership.

What you'll be doing

As our Senior Pricing Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop our Deal Desk Team, setting clear goals, coaching for growth, and creating a high performing and positive working environment.
  • Take the lead on major customer deals, including those worth £10m+ in annual revenue, providing sharp commercial recommendations for senior approval forums.
  • Build strong relationships across Sales and Business Units, using deep customer insight to shape compelling deal proposals.
  • Oversee the customer specific pricing process, ensuring proposals reflect the true value Royal Mail delivers.
  • Influence stakeholders across Legal, Regulatory, Operations and Finance to secure aligned, compliant, and commercially robust pricing outcomes.
  • Drive insight through segmentation, market analysis and competitor intelligence, supporting smarter, more strategic decision making.
