A prominent mental health service provider is looking for a Senior Nurse Practitioner to join their community mental health team in Walkden, England. The role includes managing care for a caseload, providing leadership to staff, and ensuring high-quality care for service users. Ideal candidates should have experience in community mental health and demonstrate a commitment to team development. The position involves working in a community setting with a focus on safety and recovery.
An opportunity for an experienced community mental health nurse to join the CMHT at Prescott House, Little Hulton, Salford as Senior Nurse Practitioner. You will run a clinic to manage care, treatment and risk for an established standard care caseload. Leadership and line management are integral, with deputy duties in the absence of the Team Manager, participation in daily meetings, bronze on call and on site on a rota basis (evenings, weekends, bank holidays). The role supports staff, clinics and the trust medication and physical health agenda, with a focus on high quality care for service users, carers and families.
The role may suit someone already at NMP level or someone working toward leadership level, with a passion for high quality care and team development.
The ideal candidate will be working at or towards leadership level and have experience of nursing people with complex mental health and social needs in the community. The role involves running a clinic, managing risk and delivering interventions within or outside CMHT settings to facilitate stability, safety and recovery, in collaboration with service users, carers/families, MDT and other services.
