Overview

Hertfordshire County Council is seeking experienced Senior Practitioners to join our Family Safeguarding Teams. This innovative model of practice is designed to keep more children safely at home with their families through a strengths-based, multi-disciplinary approach.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional oversight within the team.
  • Carry a protected caseload of complex cases, ensuring high-quality interventions.
  • Undertake assessments, safeguarding enquiries and court work where required.
  • Support colleagues with practice development and decision-making.
  • Champion strengths-based practice and contribute to service improvement.
