Overview of Role

Recruiting an experienced Senior Planner / Planning Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The role involves working on high‑profile infrastructure projects across Leeds.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the planning team to integrate schedules and reporting.
  • Simplify complex or detailed programmes for reporting purposes.
  • Provide innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence to ensure time‑efficient, exemplary quality outputs in terms of schedules, reporting, etc.
  • Deliver project schedules at various stages of the project lifecycle, developing from first principles and ensuring the schedules are maintained effectively.
  • Build and maintain long‑lasting client relationships, providing "best in class" service while upholding our core values.
Requirements
  • Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status (or working towards this) and/or educated to degree level.
  • Ability to communicate the programme to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of schedule integration on large multidisciplinary projects.
  • Knowledge of and experience in UK infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with NEC contracts.
  • Experience using Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
  • Relevant experience in the successful scheduling of engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of railway investment planning systems.
  • Experience with a number of project‑management scheduling tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of schedule assurance processes.
