Job summary

A UK healthcare provider is seeking an enthusiastic pharmacy technician to cover a 12-month maternity leave at Epsom Hospital, starting 30 March 2026. Responsibilities include preparing medicines, conducting stock checks, and performing general duties within a multi-disciplinary team. Overview

  • Carry out general housekeeping, filing, and receptionist duties.
  • Undertake daily stock checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Work alongside a multi‑disciplinary team, communicating effectively with staff and patients.
  • Participate in the late, weekend, and Bank Holiday rotating schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Previous experience with pharmacy dispensing systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong customer‑care skills, and a passion for patient contact.
  • Proficiency in computer use, organisational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (60‑minute lunch). Rotational duties may extend to late, weekend, and Bank Holiday shifts.
