In this newly created role, you'll work closely with managers and operational leads, managing a varied caseload, leading HR initiatives, and contributing to our wider people strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape workforce sustainability, champion EDI, and support the development of a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing employee relations cases end-to-end
Leading on HR policy, process, and service development
Coordinating and delivering HR training for staff and managers
Supporting organisational change and strategic workforce planning
Driving our EDI agenda and contributing to the Workforce Sustainability Steering Group
Collaborating with our Communications Team to enhance internal engagement
Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid role with a requirement for at least 4 days per week in the office and regular travel to our practice sites.
The Hurley Group is a prominent NHS healthcare provider based in London, established in 1969. It operates as a partnership led exclusively by practicing GPs, delivering patient-centered care across multiple locations in Central London, including areas like Harold Wood, Bexley, and Erith. With a dedicated team of over 400 employees, the group manages 12 GP practices, serving a diverse patient base.
The Senior People & Operations Advisor will be a key member of the HRfunction, responsible for delivering high-quality, end-to-end operational HRsupport while also contributing to the strategic goals of the Group. The rolerequires a proactive, confident generalist who can operate independently,take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution, managecomplex casework, and drive forward improvements to HR processes. Therole will also take a leading role in the development, coordination, anddelivery of HR training to both staff and managers, and will contribute to theGroups workforce sustainability agenda and equality, diversity, and inclusion(EDI) initiatives.
