Job summary

A leading professional association in the UK seeks a Senior Paralegal to assist the Regulation team. The candidate will manage cases relating to Registrants' fitness to practise, ensuring timely progress and high quality. Key responsibilities include liaising with several stakeholders, managing hearings, and legal administration. Applicants should have relevant legal qualifications and experience. This is a full-time permanent role based in London with a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 FTE, hybrid working conditions, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

  • Evidence of legal qualifications at least to degree level.
  • Relevant legal experience in interviewing witnesses.
  • Demonstrable experience in case handling.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to BPC's aims and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the Screening Committee to set up necessary meetings.
  • Compile and distribute necessary bundles for hearings.
  • Ensure Fitness to Practise data is organized per policy.
  • Support with preparations of Fitness to Practise papers.
