A prominent NHS Trust in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join its Orthopaedic team at East Surrey Hospital. This role offers a chance to rotate through various units, enhancing your skills in clinical practice, management, and teaching. There are lots of new developments in progress within the Trust and due to expansion in Orthopaedics; we are looking for an enthusiastic band 6 physiotherapist to join the Orthopaedic team at East Surrey Hospital.
You will rotate within Orthopaedics gaining experience in working on a designated NOF unit, a trauma ward and an elective Orthopaedic ward which includes a day surgery unit and a joint school.
This post will allow you to develop a wide range of clinical, managerial, organisational, teaching and supervision skills.
You will play an active role in audits and service development.
You will be required to work a rolling shift pattern working over an extended day, covering seven days, with other qualified and non-qualified staff.
We offer a well-established supervision and appraisal structure. We encourage individual progression within the Band 6 role and have a firm commitment to in- service training and CPD as well as supporting staff to attend external courses and conferences.
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operates a 24-hour service, 365 days a year. As such, all nursing, clinical, and operational roles may involve working on a 24/7 shift basis, unless otherwise specified during the recruitment process.

Successful candidates will be appointed to the first pay step within the band when they start with the Trust (unless they have previous relevant NHS continuous service), thereafter individuals will progress up the pay steps in accordance with NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions. For part time roles you will receive a pro rata'd (proportional) salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.
