A cultural sector funding agency in Manchester is seeking a Senior Officer for Procurement. This role involves delivering value for money through effective procurement practices. Candidates should have experience in public procurement and strong analytical skills. The position offers a fixed-term contract with flexible/hybrid working arrangements and competitive salary plus benefits.
Contract: Fixed term until 17 July 2026, working 35 hours per week; flexible working encouraged.
Salary: £38,404 per annum, plus benefits including final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible/hybrid working.
Location: Manchester – hybrid basis, 1–2 days on site per week.
Introduction: Arts Council is an arms‑length body of the Department for Culture, Media & Sport that distributes lottery funding across the cultural sector.
Procurement Team: The team sits within Finance, working to deliver high‑quality, value‑for‑money services whilst aligning with corporate objectives such as Net Zero and equality, diversity and inclusion. We recently received an award for embedding accessibility into a tender project.
Support the Procurement Manager to deliver value for money through effective procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations.
