Job description

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to work in the Psychological Skills Service. Your base will be determined upon successful recruitment, and you will be expected to work across the county depending on service/client need.

  • Psychological Skills Service occupational therapists are trained in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI). They assess and help clients identify, learn, and develop skills related to their own sensory processing patterns—including modulation and praxis challenges—and how these link to self‑regulation. This enables individuals to understand how these factors influence participation in daily activities and their overall health and well‑being. Therapists teach skills and strategies to support participation in daily occupations and help clients reach their goals, with regular supervision by senior staff.
  • Travel is an essential part of the role. You will be required to travel independently around the county, adhere to strict time deadlines, and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Public transport is not acceptable for this position. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.
