Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing End-to-End IP designs focusing on cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking, Cisco, and Palo Alto is expected.
• Experience with design implementation for telco networks using ISIS, MPLS SR, MP-BGP, LDP, QoS, and basic understanding of Netconf/YANG.

What you'll do

This role will be part of the team responsible for the ground-up development and implementation of a new Telco Management Environment and the migration of existing Telco management applications to public-cloud.

• Develop End-to-End IP Network Designs for applications being migrated to public-cloud
• Using your experience of Telco and AWS networking to design network migration patterns.
• Convert requirements into end-to-end solutions and high/low-level designs that deliver business and technical compliance against Telecom Security Act standards.
• Have an automation focused mentality to produce designs that are compatible with a CI/CD automated build process.
• Hands-on experience of IP hardware and converting manual configuration steps into automated configuration templates.
• Be willing and able to test and validate your designs in public-cloud.
• Work alongside the engineering architecture team on engagements with many partners across the Technology Group, providing detailed network solutions for applications migrating to public-cloud.

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing End-to-End IP designs with the focus on cloud environments (public, private or hybrid).
• Experience in IP design documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Experience in designing and delivering requirements to a production-ready solution.
• Deep IP networking knowledge of both physical and public-cloud technologies. Hands-on experience with AWS networking, Cisco and Palo Alto would be expected.
• Experience of design implementation for telco networks using ISIS, MPLS SR, MP-BGP, LDP, QoS, Security with basic understanding of Netconf/YANG.
