Market Leading Manufacturer now looking to recruit an electrically biased Senior Multi-Skilled Engineer within the packaging facility.

Role

Based in SKEGNESS.

Working Mon-Fri days
Salary £60k-£70k DOE
Purpose

The skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and improvement of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Enhancing efficiency and productivity in a manufacturing environment.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, key responsibilities include:

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical faults in machinery, systems, and equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inventory.
  • Collaborate with other functions to support multidisciplinary projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Provide technical support and training to other staff.
  • Liaise with management and the production teams, ensuring effective communication of goals, updates and changes in processes.
  • Supervisory responsibility in terms of one apprentice direct report.
Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrical engineer who is comfortable working in automated production environments. The company will put you through 17th and 18th Edition if you do not already have this. Prior experience in industrial or commercial settings is desirable. Ex‑Forces candidates are strongly encouraged to apply – ideal for those transitioning into civilian employment with hands‑on, technical skills!
