Overview

The hours of the MRI unit are 07:30-20:00 Monday to Friday, and 07:30-17:30 on Saturday and Sunday. The successful applicant will be required to work extended weekdays and weekends on a rolling rota. Participation in the spinal out of hours MRI on-call rota is required. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person. You will need to be motivated to learn, flexible and enthusiastic to develop your skills. You must have experience working as a Radiographer and strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will play a key role in patient care, so you should be positive, adaptable, and work to high standards to ensure our Trust maintains its good reputation. In return you will work as part of a high-performing and supportive team. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally and be supported to expand your skill set.

We have an opportunity to recruit a full time and part time MRI Radiographer, experience in MRI is desired but not essential as a training role would be considered for the right candidate.

Our Imaging Department plays an essential role in the Trust, offering a range of diagnostic tests. The MRI department has a newly upgraded Siemens Vida 3T scanner and a Siemens Sola 1.5T scanner installed in 2021. This high level of investment by the Trust ensures we can provide the best imaging facilities for our patients.
