Job summary

A leading offshore energy firm is seeking a Procurement Expeditor – Mechanical to manage procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of critical materials. The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 12 years of procurement experience on offshore Oil & Gas projects. Responsibilities include leading procurement for EPIC projects, developing strategies, and overseeing vendor evaluation. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills. This position is based in Singapore with a residential schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years’ procurement experience on major offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes: bid/award, buying, expediting.
• Experience in developing procurement strategies and contractor procurement plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for offshore EPIC projects.
• Develop procurement strategies for long‑lead items.
• Monitor engineering requisitions and coordinate procurement progress.
• Conduct vendor research, evaluation, and selection.
• Attend technical and commercial meetings for procurement support.
• Oversee spare parts management and delivery coordination.
• Support process improvements and project close‑out activities.
