The ideal candidate will possess high-level technical competency, significant experience in a nuclear environment, and a strong grasp of engineering standards. Qualifications

  • High-level technical competency and significant experience in a related field.
  • Ability to create and develop new ideas.
  • Experience in preparing project documentation, processes, and reports.
  • Demonstrable success in managing stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of BS8888 and ISO-GPS.
  • Ability to check technical drawings per BS8888 and ISO 8015.
  • Deep experience in design, manufacture, material selection, welding, fabrication, and machining techniques.
  • Familiarity with DFMEA and PFMEA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and challenge requirements for existing waste containers and interface equipment.
  • Assist as defined by the Engineering Manager.
  • Provide guidance and assurance to Senior Engineers and Designers.
  • Assist in defining product requirements.
  • Guide understanding of tolerances on interface drawings.
  • Help in compiling Component Requirements Documents.
  • Support site surveys and production/review of survey reports.
  • Assist in Design and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis.
  • Check drawings and documents for accuracy.
  • Identify and apply Lessons Learned from Experience for technical tasks.

Skills

High-level technical competency
