Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Stretford. Salary: £45,000 to £55,000. Job Ref: #34112.

A successful nationwide MEP consultants, with a UK wide presence and an international office, are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a role in Stretford to work on a large variety of projects in the UK. The focus of your work will be on the Healthcare sector, working on new builds and refurbishment projects and engaging with modern methods of construction including modular offsite installations.

Responsibilities

Join an expanding Manchester office and contribute to a dynamic team. Produce design work across Healthcare projects—primarily hospitals and related facilities—covering operating theatres, day case centres, reception and office areas, laboratories, wards and outpatient areas. Work within a Building Services environment, across the design of all applications to CIBSE and HTM guidelines, with knowledge of BS7671 and other relevant guidelines. Collaborate within a Mechanical Engineering team and within a multi-disciplinary Building Services environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

Educated to degree level in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (BEng or Masters preferred). Experience in the sector in a similar role is required. Applications from Senior Engineers and mid-level Engineers ready to advance to a Senior position are welcome. A passion for new technology and Healthcare engineering is important.
