A leading defence contractor in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Senior Marine Systems Engineer to provide governance and oversight for engineering decisions affecting Auxiliary Marine Systems. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and a salary of £47,500 depending on skills and experience. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical/Mobile Engineering and experience with marine systems.

This team provides constant engineering support to the supported classes of RN warships within Portsmouth Naval Base including the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers, T45 Destroyers, T23, Hunt MCMV, and River Class OPVs. Involvement in all aspects of the waterfront support provided by the Class Management Team, including maintenance & upkeep, as well as the introduction of new capability. This team has a strong track record of professional development with support in achieving CEng accreditation.
