Qualifications

• Minimum STCW III / 3 Chief Engineer &<6000kW, III / 2 Unlimited preferred.
• All STCW basic training in date.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to produce detailed reports.
• Expertise in fault diagnosis and machinery repair.
• Preferably experienced in harbour or terminal towage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all machinery on board is in top condition.
• Maintain safe operation of vessels and associated machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and execute Planned Maintenance System.
• Supervise and train engineering staff.
