Job summary

A maritime services company based in the UK is seeking a Chief Engineer to support engineers at HMNB Clyde, ensuring safe operation and maintenance of systems and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Ch. Eng CoC of 6000Kw, SC clearance capability, and a solid background in marine operations. Responsibilities include managing daily consultations with the Master, overseeing compliance measures, and ensuring high efficiency in operations. Qualifications

• Proven history of operating as a singleton in charge.
• Required certifications and qualifications to fulfill primary role.
• Knowledge of SMS and the ISM Code.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery and systems.
• Consult daily with the Master to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Oil and Environmental Pollution Prevention Legislation.
• Manage Planned Maintenance and emergency repair work.
• Keep accurate records and submit daily reports.
