I am recruiting for a Senior Manager in Strategy, Analysis and Planning for my client in Cardiff.

This is a pivotal role shaping my clients long-term direction. As Senior Manager, you’ll partner with ExCo, the CFO and the Board to:

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate planning cycle – aligning strategy, financial planning and insight into one clear roadmap
• Translate strategic priorities into tangible, actionable plans
• Provide high-quality market, economic and competitor analysis to drive decision-making
• Monitor delivery against strategy, highlighting risks, opportunities and trade-offs
• Coordinate with Treasury on capital-raise activities to ensure strategic alignment
• Challenge and support ExCo to focus on what really matters

What we’re looking for

• Strong stakeholder management – able to influence at every level, including Board
• Strategic thinker with a sharp analytical mindset and commercial awareness
• Proven experience turning complex data, trends and insights into clear actions
• Confident communicator – skilled at engaging and influencing through written and verbal communication
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes
• Collaborative by nature – able to work across functions and bring people with you

Nice to have (but not essential)

• Experience in financial services, banking or building societies
• Consultancy or MBA background
• Exposure to customer, marketing or PR strategy – adding fresh perspective
