We focus on delivering the people agenda on large‑scale, complex change programmes and transforming the HR function through technology.

Key capabilities:

  • HR Transformation
  • Learning Solutions
  • Organisational Transformation
  • Workforce Transformation
Summary of the Role and Purpose

The role supports financial services organisations – banks, insurance companies, FMIs, wealth and asset managers, and fintechs – as they adapt to changes such as digitisation, regulation, analytics or new technology. Our clients continually redesign parts of their organisation and we help them implement those changes.

Description of the role

This is a 12‑month secondment/12‑month FTC to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for experienced consultants who can lead Organisation Design workstreams on complex, business‑critical programmes. Responsibilities include:

  • Scoping, pricing and designing the approach for a client (with partner or director support), then leading delivery of this work.
  • Supporting business development and growing revenues from the existing work portfolio.
  • Applying leading‑practice problem‑solving methodologies to address client issues and structure projects.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from other service lines such as technology, finance, customer, or analytics.
  • Delivering high‑quality analysis combining KPMG expertise, market insight and quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Acting as the main client interface, providing effective, credible and timely communication.
  • Generating thought leadership, driving knowledge sharing and developing consulting skills within the team.
  • Shaping team culture, inspiring and empowering members and supporting their career development.
Skills, qualifications and experience
  • Deep expertise in Organisational Design – including role definition, objectives and KPIs, ways of working, hierarchical design, cost modelling, grade levelling, and people transition planning. Experience with Org Vue and agile contexts is desirable.
  • Strong appreciation of behavioural change approaches – leadership alignment, change case, stakeholder identification and management, sequencing, communication, engagement and impact assessment. Experience with technology adoption, training and awareness is also required.
  • Candidates with capability across both Change and OD are preferred, though deep OD specialists are also valued.
  • Understanding of the financial services environment and experience in consulting projects within the sectors listed above.
  • Senior Manager level experience leading and managing other consultants, ideally from a recognised professional services or global consulting firm. In‑house consulting experience is valuable.
  • Strong influencing, communication and client‑management skills – capable of working with senior clients, including the C‑suite. Proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, Excel and both face‑to‑face and Teams communication.
  • Collaborative mindset – willing to share knowledge and support colleagues within a close‑knit team.
  • High curiosity – motivated to research clients, understand their business, and stay updated on trends in workforce management.
