About the Position:

Reporting to the Registered Manager, the Senior Residential Support Worker advocates for and provides person-centred care, supporting staff to deliver high-quality support to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to residents' personal development with practical and emotional support
  • Lead by example, communicate appropriately
  • Design and deliver recreational activities within the home and community, including outings and holidays
  • Assist in care planning, participate in reviews, and maintain knowledge of nutrition and hygiene
  • Keep accurate records
  • Manage key-worker duties and develop links with families and significant others
  • Work with the Manager to ensure effective service delivery and communication
  • Support staff through supervisions and training

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Experience supporting young adults with disabilities, autism, and complex needs
  • Good communication and computer skills
