Senior Teaching Assistant – Eccles (M30)

Educato is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Eccles (M30) to recruit an experienced Senior Teaching Assistant. This is a full‑time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm, offering a daily rate of £107 per day. The role will start on 12 January 2026 for a fixed term, with an option to extend to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day classroom support as a Senior Teaching Assistant.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC) and ADHD.
  • Lead by example and offer guidance to newer or less experienced teaching assistants.
  • Support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation in line with school expectations.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help deliver tailored support.
Requirements
  • Proven Teaching Assistant experience within a school setting (essential).
  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism and/or ADHD.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable, but not essential.
  • Confident, calm and professional approach.
  • Ability to take initiative and support team development.
