As the Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major IT programmes, managing risks, mentoring project teams, and ensuring outcomes align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Apply consistent project methodologies and governance standards across all initiatives
  • Manage risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies
  • Oversee resource allocation and vendor management for critical projects
  • Ensure alignment with NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Cyber Essentials requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and clear communication throughout project lifecycles
  • Mentor and develop project managers and coordinators within the team
  • Provide accurate reporting and performance analysis to senior leadership
About You
  • Extensive experience in IT project management, delivering large-scale, complex programmes
  • Deep practical knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and experience closing compliance gaps
  • Proven track record in enterprise-wide IT initiatives (e.g., identity management, network segmentation, EDR deployments)
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 or SOC2 standards
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile credentials highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of IT service lifecycle and collaboration with architecture and operations teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project)
