Job summary

A community support service in Brent is seeking a Senior Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to provide critical support to women experiencing domestic abuse. The role offers hybrid working and part-time hours, with a salary range of £21–£24 per hour. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of safeguarding practices and proven supervisory experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Line manage and support Duty Workers.
  • Coordinate the duty rota and allocation of cases.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to ensure high-quality practice.
  • Assist the Service Manager with data collection and analysis.
  • Deliver direct support to women through assessments and crisis intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies across three boroughs.

Overview

Senior Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) role in Brent, in a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) service. Hybrid working: up to 1 day from home. 21 hours per week, 10:00–18:00 (potential to increase). Salary: £21–£24 p/h Ltd. Contract: Temporary, Part-Time.

Location: Brent (Hybrid - up to 1 day working from home). Hours: 21 hours per week, 10am-6pm. Salary: £21 - £24 p/h Ltd. Contract: Temporary, Part-Time. Service: Violence Against Women and Girls.
