Overview

We are working with a Multi-Academy Trust in London to recruit a Senior HR Project Consultant on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is paying £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, plus hybrid working, a generous holiday entitlement and attractive employer pension contribution.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for HR change management initiatives, including restructuring, redundancy and TUPE processes.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies that ensure staff engagement, effective communication and high standards of compliance.
  • Work closely with your client group and other enabling functions to support change initiatives, providing expert guidance to mitigate risk and ensure employee/ Trade Union concerns are addressed.
  • Ensure that change processes are handled with sensitivity and professionalism, upholding company values and commitment to fairness.
  • Lead local level engagement with recognised trade unions on change processes and employee processes, fostering strong, collaborative relationships while maintaining strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on all aspects of employee relations for your client groups, including overseeing complex casework and working with leadership teams to reach early and amicable resolution wherever possible.
  • Lead on data analysis as needed for your client groups, including to support project work.
  • Work with the systems team and recruitment team to ensure high levels of compliance across a range of key indicators.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to promote a high-performance delivering excellence culture.
  • Work across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that strategic priorities and change programmes are delivered on time and to a high standard for your defined client groups.
  • Line management of a HR Business Partner.
Qualifications
  • MCIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience in a senior HR role, ideally in a large and complex organisation.
  • Working on a TUPE project or contract is essential.
  • Sector experience is not essential.
  • Strategic experience of leading a variety of HR change programmes including restructuring and redundancy as well as associated organisational design work.
  • Experience across the full range of HR casework, ideally including Tribunal experience.
  • Data confident, able to analyse data to produce trend reports and action recommendations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of delivering results in a challenging and fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels.
  • Resilient and decisive, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
