Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Wales is hiring a Senior Digital Specialist to support both Velindre Cancer Centre and the Welsh Blood Service. This role involves managing IT support for 1,800 staff and 2,500 devices, with a strong focus on customer service. Candidates should have relevant IT qualifications and experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with Microsoft systems. The position requires on-site work across multiple sites, and is pivotal in ensuring smooth digital operations for healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Qualified to UK based degree level or with UK based equivalent experience.
• Relevant knowledge of Microsoft client operating systems and desktop software.
• Experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tickets escalated from the Digital Service Desk team.
• Be able to prioritize tickets logged by users.
• Build and fix IT devices and peripherals in a timely manner.

Education

UK based degree or equivalent experience
