A leading healthcare provider in Torquay is seeking a compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant for its Hospice at Home team. In this permanent role, you will provide essential care to patients nearing the end of their lives, ensuring comfort and support for both patients and their families. Applicants should possess NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and demonstrate excellent communication skills. This position covers various shifts throughout the week, offering a meaningful career in a supportive environment.
Band B £25,034 to £26,598 (pro rata) per annum depending on experience

Our Hospice at Home team are passionate about providing the highest quality of care and support to a patient and their loved ones.
To be successful in this role you will need proven care experience, an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and be passionate about providing good quality palliative care to people in their own homes. You will also be an excellent communicator and able to work well on your own, within a very supportive team.
This role covers shifts across 7 days a week.
Our Senior Healthcare Assistants (SHCAs) work as part of a caring, inclusive and supportive team all with the same passion, compassion, knowledge and skills to support both the patient and their loved ones in their own homes at a difficult and precious time.

Thisrole has been identified as a Fieldworker (role could be carried out at a Rowcroft site or other location,including home, subject to the varying needs of the role. Will spend planned time at Rowcroft sites orother locations as the role requires which could include patient homes andRowcroft and non-Rowcroft locations to meet the needs of the service).
Thiswill be fully discussed and agreed with the postholder to meet individual andbusiness needs.
