Overview

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll lead the design function across the Celtic Collection and ICC Wales, managing both in-house and freelance designers. You'll be responsible for developing innovative design concepts, overseeing multiple projects, and ensuring all marketing materials meet brand standards and campaign objectives. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll collaborate with senior stakeholders, support strategic marketing initiatives, and drive creative excellence across digital, print, and event collateral.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team, delegating briefs and overseeing workloads.
• Develop and implement creative design solutions for marketing campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to deliver high‑quality assets.
• Maintain brand consistency while evolving visual identity in line with business growth.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and project delivery across multiple concurrent briefs.
• Support digital strategy including website content, email campaigns, and social media assets.
• Liaise with photographers, printers, and agencies to produce compelling visual content.
• Contribute to team development, training, and departmental innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior graphic design role, ideally within a marketing environment.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.).
• Experience with HTML email design and digital content creation.
• Excellent communication, proofreading, and copywriting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and creative mindset.
