A non-profit organization supporting health in the Reading area is seeking a Senior Fundraiser to lead their fundraising team and drive income growth. The ideal candidate will have proven success in fundraising and a passion for helping those affected by Multiple Sclerosis. With no NHS funding, we need to raise over £700,000 each year to support our members. Your success will mean we can provide the best possible support for anyone affected by MS in our community and continue to make our vision a reality.
AtBMSTC our mission is "to helplocal people to managethe challenges of living with MS"by providing therapies designed to manage symptoms and by creating a supportive environment.
From our purpose-built Centre in Reading, 14 staff and over 100 volunteers provide services to Berkshire and neighbouring areas of Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, and Buckinghamshire and also offer some therapies remotely via Zoom.
We have also created a friendly, supportive space where members, families and carers can share information and socialise. We take pride in our reputationfor having a positive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.
This year alone we helped to provide over 15,000 treatments to over 400 families and we were thrilled to receive a King\'s Award for Voluntary Service, equivalent to an MBE for our vital work.
The successful candidate willbe requiredtodemonstratea good levelof secondary education and societal awareness.
