Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in the UK is hiring a Specialist Nurse to join the Forensic Assessment, Consultation, Treatment & Training Service. This role involves delivering specialist nursing care, collaborating with teams to ensure effective service delivery, and contributing to the development of treatment programs for offenders with learning disabilities and autism. Candidates should possess RNLD/RNMH qualifications and have extensive clinical experience. The position offers an annual salary between £47,810 and £54,710, based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience with offenders with a learning disability and/or autism.
  • Experience in undertaking specialist forensic assessments.
  • Experience in formal and informal teaching of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of the FACTT service.
  • Collaborate to deliver nursing responsibilities.
  • Be operationally responsible for nursing staff.
  • Organise use of physical resources for the service.
  • Contribute to developments of treatment programmes.
  • Provide teaching and training to others.
  • Deliver assessments and consultations across agencies.
  • Coordinate referrals into the FACTT service.
