Senior Exposure Management Analyst

Department: Actuarial, Pricing & Analytics

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: London

Reporting To: Eileen Kee

Description

As the first dedicated Exposure Management Analyst within CFC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our exposure management capabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to help define and embed exposure management governance and processes from the ground up, while delivering critical modelling analysis and reporting to inform underwriting and strategic decision-making across the business.

About the role

Working closely with underwriters and the wider Performance Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all exposures, both natural catastrophe (nat-cat) and non-nat-cat (predominantly Cyber and Terrorism) are accurately captured, assessed, and monitored in line with our risk appetite.

You will support the design and implementation of exposure management tools and frameworks, enabling effective capture and interpretation of risk data, policy terms, and conditions. In addition, you will contribute to building and automating workflows for scheduled reporting and recurring modelling tasks, enhancing efficiency and analytical capabilities across the function.

About you

You'll have good working knowledge of catastrophe modelling principles, processes, workflow and experience using a recognised vendor catastrophe model.

We'll definitely be keen to hear of your experience working directly with underwriters and actuaries within a commercial insurer, Lloyd’s syndicate, London market insurer, broker or MGA, producing high quality MI & reports.

Naturally, strong data modelling and quantitative analysis experience is essential for this role.
