Job description
Financial Reporting (Tax):
  • Maintain and update tax-related databases and records.
  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all tax documentation and financial data.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Prepare and file monthly tax and VAT returns on schedule.
  • Reconcile tax and VAT returns with relevant ledger accounts.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants for advisory support.
  • Resolve real-time tax and VAT issues promptly.
  • Report non-compliance.
  • Prepare and submit RJSC returns and handle BIDA/regulatory matters.
  • Ensure timely submission of annual tax returns and statutory filings.
Compliance Documentation:
  • Process bill vouchers in line with tax and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain statutory registers at both head office and factory.
  • Implement corrective actions based on non-compliance findings.
Audit & Review:
  • Verify bills, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy.
  • Conduct inventory and cash counts as part of internal controls.
Meetings & Training:
  • Lead weekly departmental meetings for coordination and updates.
  • Support training programs to strengthen compliance awareness.
