A UK university is seeking a Senior Events Officer to manage and deliver a range of events in alignment with the university’s strategic goals. The successful candidate will oversee project management from conception to delivery, coordinating with university-wide colleagues and suppliers. Requires proven experience in events management, especially recruitment events. This role offers a salary between £40,757 to £47,921 per annum with benefits including a generous leave package and hybrid working options.

Grade 7 from £40,757 to £47,921 inclusive of London Weighting, with potential to progress to £52,067 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution (pro‑rata if part‑time).

The Senior Events Officer will be responsible for organising and delivering events that are part of the Brunel University of London portfolio. This role will involve managing projects from conception to delivery including evaluation to ensure activities are aligned with the University’s strategic plan. The events portfolio includes but is not limited to Institutional/VIP events, Graduation events, research and engagement events, recruitment events and student and staff events.
Work closely with colleagues across the University and with external agencies and suppliers. Act as a point of liaison on all events management issues. Lead the campus coordination activity throughout the academic year. Deliver recruitment events programme throughout the year working with academics and professional service staff across the University.
Experience in delivering recruitment events in person and online, such as Open Days and Applicant Days. Strong events management specialist.
