Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Engineer with active security clearance to work on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations projects. Senior Engineer - Active Security Clearance (SC), D365 Finance

Up to £640 per day (Inside IR35)

We are currently seeking SC-cleared candidates for a Senior Engineer role focused on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce. This is a long-term opportunity to support a high-profile programme with a strong focus on environment strategy and deployment life cycle management.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as Senior Engineer focussed on Dynamics F&O and Commerce
• Active Security Clearance (SC)
• Skilled in Environment Management, to undertake the building of required environments
• Ability to advise on best practices for environment, licensing and deployment in F&O.
• Proven experience provisioning environments via Lifecycle Services (LCS), including Dataverse and SQL configuration.
• Skilled in managing deployments across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
• Ability to apply and validate application updates and manage binary packages.
• Capable of designing scalable environment strategies, including multi-region rollouts and pilot setups.
• Strong understanding of security configuration, user roles, and access controls.
• Ensures integration readiness for Dual Write, Power Platform, and external systems.
• Proficient in using LCS monitoring tools and telemetry for issue resolution.
• Maintains clear documentation to support governance and rollback procedures.
• Collaborates effectively with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and source control.
