Job summary

Job description

The company was established in 2002 and is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced AI-based people-screening security technology. The client's technology is deployed in more than 30 countries globally by government and commercial organisations in a wide range of security situations.

As the Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be required to design, develop and realise new products and solutions as well as support the Operations teams to develop and maintain production test capabilities critical to production processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and/or supporting the specification, design, implementation and testing of new products. Additionally, you will be responsible for all aspects of production test capability and maintenance, including requirement analysis, specification, design, implementation and test.

What we would like from the Senior Electronics Engineer:

  • Degree level (or vocational equivalent) education in an appropriate discipline, e.g. electronic engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of practical and specific experience in electronics and RF design/engineering
  • Ability to independently innovate and rapidly develop technical concepts/ideas into functional prototypes
  • Technical skills/experience in General electronic design and manufacture, PCB specification, design and layout, Electronics/RF testing, including the use of signal generators, spectrum analysers, power meters, attenuators, mixers, Embedded software C, RF (HFSS), including mixer operation and LabVIEW

  • Salary between £55k to £65k doe
  • Working hours are 08.30 to 16.00 Monday to Friday
