Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronics, Electrical Power Engineering, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology or working towards chartership.
• Experience with Clients such as National Gas Transmission and Cadent.
• Knowledge of Electrical Specifications and Standards like G/17 and G/35.
• Experience with hazardous areas and CompEx12 certification preferred.
• Good understanding of relevant safety and electrical standards.
• Feasibility and detailed design experience in gas compressor stations.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Energy Team in meetings.
• Review scopes of work and manage tender submissions.
• Produce design documentation and drawings.
• Deliver electrical design packages at various engineering stages.
• Liaise with other departments and project teams.
• Conduct site visits and investigations.
• Manage Formal Process Safety Assessments.
