Overview

Senior Electrical Design Engineer required for an industry leading engineering consultancy working on exciting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with long standing projects in place, offering security and ongoing development opportunities.

Role Overview

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for working on projects predominantly within the water treatment industry and will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to commission. You will be primarily based from home, travelling to the company office once or twice a week and will occasionally visit customer sites.

Responsibilities
  • Working on electrical designs for water treatment equipment
  • Working on projects from scratch and upgrades / modifications
  • Working with motor control centres, LV distribution, cabling, instrumentation etc
  • Support integration of controls - PLC and SCADA
  • Produce and review technical specifications
  • Support the development of junior engineers
  • Development opportunities - chartership, progression etc.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in electrical design
  • Hold an engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • Industrial experience - water treatment, rail, automotive or similar
