A technology-first business in Swindon is seeking a Senior Software Developer to take ownership of new and existing systems and lead the development of a new software suite. This company is an established but expanding B2B business, with technology as its key differentiator. They're looking to further grow and diversify their SaaS solutions offering.
In this role, you'll take ownership of both new and existing systems, maintaining legacy code where needed while leading the design and development of new solutions. You'll work closely with the Head of Software to align on technical direction, while taking the hands‑on lead in building and improving Laravel‑based applications, managing APIs and third‑party integrations. This is a great opportunity to shape the product's direction and contribute to the product's growth. The role is based in Swindon on a hybrid basis, with at least three days in the office per week.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Laravel and PHP, be comfortable owning both the development of new and existing systems. The right person will have full‑stack development experience, strong database experience (SQL) and preferably cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP). This role suits someone ready to take a leading role in development with strong support from the business.
