Title: Senior Copywriter
Location: Richmond, VA or Remote EST hours if not in Market
Duration: 1 year assignment, possibility of extension

We are looking for an experienced Copywriter to bring our brand to life through the marketing of our bank Cafés. We work on a wide variety of work that ranges from social to digital marketing, OOH, integrated campaigns and physical experiences.

What you should have
  • At least 3 years of copywriting experience at an agency or client side. Must have copywriting experience creating marketing/advertising that is rooted in brand strategy.
  • A portfolio website that showcases your writing across various channels as well as your conceptual ability
  • Experience partnering with an AD partner to ideate and elevate a creative ask
  • Big picture thinking that allows you to integrate your copy across channels and experiences
  • Experience with digital-first marketing. In-person experience marketing is also helpful.
What you should be able to
  • Use a creative brief to inform and differentiate your work
  • Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time.
  • Deliver error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail
  • Use judgment in incorporating feedback and making decisions for your work
  • Determine when to use existing solutions or start from scratch, so you can invest your time where it matters
  • Understand the goals of a project, take direction well, and ask questions when you need clarity.
  • Align your work to evolving brand standards, brand voice, AP Style etc.
  • Present your work in a compelling way to create support across different audiences
  • Use strategy to inform your creative decisions
  • Understand the importance of integrated thinking across channels, products and audiences, while staying true to the brand
  • Partner well with a team—art directors, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists.
  • Proactively and autonomously own your work
