Job description
About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Consultant (SAC) to join our Data & Insights team, a pivotal role where you’ll design, implement, and optimise enterprise-level SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and EPM solutions for our growing portfolio of clients.

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll combine technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to drive project excellence from discovery to delivery. You’ll lead client engagements, design scalable architectures, and ensure seamless integration and adoption. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone who enjoys blending consultancy with innovation and mentorship.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead full project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Architect SAC and Data & Insights solutions aligned with client goals and industry best practices.
  • Conduct workshops and analyse business processes to translate complex requirements into effective, tailored solutions.
  • Configure and customise SAC modules, ensuring alignment with client financial, operational, and reporting needs.
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely issue resolution, maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction.
  • Drive project excellence, providing guidance on project structure, timelines, and resource management.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to presales and proposal development, including solution demonstrations, cost modelling, and client presentations.
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, strengthening long‑term client relationships.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating new tools and technologies to elevate our service offering.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3–5 years of proven experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Tagetik, or similar EPM technologies.
  • A strong background in financial planning, consolidation, and analytics.
  • Ideally a Chartered Accountant (CA) or working towards a recognised financial qualification.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, system integration, and performance optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client projects independently and deliver on‑time, high‑quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • A consultative mindset — able to translate complex business needs into strategic, data‑driven solutions.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior consultants within a collaborative team environment.
Key Behaviours
  • Decision Making: Exhibit strong decision‑making capabilities, especially in high‑pressure situations. Weigh risks and benefits to determine the most beneficial course of action for both clients and the organisation.
  • Empowering Others: Delegate tasks to empower team members and promote their growth. Motivate clients to take ownership of the EPM system post‑implementation.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understand the financial implications of project decisions. Align solutions with the strategic goals of clients to maximise value.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adapt to emerging technologies and shifting project requirements. Maintain flexibility in diverse client settings and project scopes.
  • Communication: Articulate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. Maintain transparent communication with clients and project teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external vendors. Foster a cooperative and respectful team environment.
  • Teamwork: Actively participate in team discussions and collective efforts. Support colleagues in achieving team objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions. Bring creativity to the problem‑solving process to develop innovative solutions.
  • Time Management: Prioritise tasks to ensure timely project delivery. Efficiently balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Resilience: Demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges. Recover quickly from setbacks and maintain focus.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Manage your own emotions and understand others' emotions to foster effective working relationships. Display empathy towards clients and team members, strengthening collaboration.
  • Creativity: Introduce fresh ideas and perspectives in problem‑solving and solution design.
